The Little Red Dress

So this is my first blog post of 2011! Are you recovering today? Or did you keep the party going like our family did? Today we went from Mimosas to Beer to Baileys and Coffee...OH MY! Thankfully all of this has been absorbed by an insane amount of food and snacking. (side note: thank heavens for the new Tracy Anderson DVD's en route courtesy of my Brother for Christmas). I am ready to detox for a week or two and get back into a normal pattern of eating/drinking.

We had a great NYE. Despite a trip to Urgent Care for our son...he has bronchitis, we were able to go out and have dinner with my in-laws and my brother who is in town from Atlanta. My parents are here and took great care of Julian. He did wake up at 3:45, and I had to sit and watch Sesame Street for an hour. Poor guy...it seems he is on the mend though, and we were all able to nap today!

I wore a red dress that I absolutely love, but don't get a chance to wear all that often. Gigi picked this out for me at Forever 21. It is not something I would have normally picked for myself, but after some expert tailoring this dress fits like a dream. I love the color and it makes me feel super girly.

This purse is SO old, but it is one of my favorites. It has every color you can imagine in a sequin zig zag pattern.
