Man of Style: Christian Bale

Whether Christian is scruffy with a beard, or super clean cut as Bruce Wayne he is always perfection in my eyes. I don't know what it is, maybe it's his mysterious persona or his bad boy reputation? Either way, I think he is just downright handsome...

oh and by far my favorite Christian Bale movie? The frightening American Psycho...

I adore...

a man that is willing to take risks with his style. I feel like my husband has always done a pretty good job with tapping into his own individual style, despite what everyone else is wearing.  Sometimes men can just be as inspiring as women, as documented by The Sartorialist. So, Jonathan...this one is for you:

yes, my husband would totally rock a sweater like this. In fact, I believe he has something very similar.

Who knew a denim sport coat could look so chic?

I love everything about this look...especially the shades

not sure about the jewelry, but this suit/tie/shirt combo is impeccable

taking denim to a whole new level...

what do you think? Would this be too over the top for the man in your life?

Replacing Ryan Reynolds?

Ryan Reynolds has been on the top of my list (to look at) for years, until now. I just discovered the series True Blood and I have to say, I am pretty much smitten with every male character on the show! Whether wolf, or vampire or good guy, they sure know how to pick em! Ryan Kwanten (who plays Jason Stackhouse on the show) could be Ryan Reynolds brother, no?

Mr.Reynolds

VS.

Ryan Kwanten...geesh, this photo makes me blush!!!

I am sorry for this steamy post today...I think the heat is getting to me!

Is anyone else watching True Blood? Are you as hooked as I am?

Man of Style: Bravo's Golden Boy

I have fallen head over heels for Andy Cohen. This darling poster boy of Reality T.V. is the Senior VP of original programming on Bravo...yup, the mastermind behind the Rachel Zoe Project, Real Housewives, Flipping Out and Top Chef.

On top of all this, he hosts the most hilarious show called Watch What Happens, Live at 10:30 after the RH series. I always end up laughing out loud, and I can't help but wonder what it would be like if Andy and I were BFF's. We could gossip all day long about Crazy Danielle or twisted Jill Zarin, sip champagne cocktails, shop the shoe sale at Barneys, maybe I would help him pick out a great tie and then we would have wonderful lunches in Sag Harbor together. Ahhhh, a girl can dream right? Wouldn't he be the best Gay husband ever?

On top of his good looks and quick wit, the man can DRESS. He pulls of the fitted suit look just perfect, and his pocket square is never out of place. The pictures I am going to post do not do this man justice. He is way more put together on his show. Even my husband seems to be taking note...

OK ladies, any other Andy Cohen fans out there? Do you love his crooked smile as much as I do?!!!

Man of Style

I did this a few weeks back, and I think I am going to stick with it. It doesn't hurt to throw a little man-candy in here every once in a while, right?

My husband and I recently watched Lars and the Real Girl with Ryan Gosling. It is an absolutely strange, but captivating movie that we just couldn't turn off. Even though we kept looking at each other in disbelief, like, "Why are we watching this?".  It reminded me how good looking Ryan Gosling is. Even when he plays these weird, disturbed characters, he pretty much oozes sex appeal.

So the big question is, do you think Rachel McAdams is totally bummed?

Man of Style

OK, it's been a while since we have talked about Men on this blog. Especially really good looking men with great style. Meet Dhani Jones.

For those of you who don't know him, he is a linebacker for the Cincinatti Bengals and happens to be the host of a very entertaining show on the Travel Channel called Dhani Tackles The Globe. On the show, Dhani embarks on a global sports odyssey, in which he takes on new sporting challenges and learns how sports define a culture. He is an incredible athlete, and it is quite a sight to see him play sports like Jai Alai, Rugby, Rowing and Cycling. The show also features him off the field, immersing himself with the people and culture of each country.

It is hard to look past the good looks and physique...but truly, Mr.Jones is quite a renaissance man. He is a philanthropist, artist (plays classical music and does photography), community volunteer and he also has his own line of bow ties. He is also HILARIOUS. We crack up all the time on the show, this guy has a really good sense of humor. Are you drooling yet? The picture of him below is taken in Australia. Yes, he wore speedos...

It's a show that you AND your husband will enjoy...The Travel Channel-Mondays 11 PM E/P
