Bubble Baby

I am sorry, but there is nothing cuter than tan chubby baby legs and a "bubble" one piece. If I had a little girl, I would have her in these all the time!!! And a HUGE Thank you to my friend Casey (who needs a blog herself because she has such amazing taste) for sending this website on to me. This is just a small sampling of all the wonderful things that Kidlet Company.com has to offer!!!! You must go check it out!

It's just beachy

We have all been there...you pull your kid out of the pool and you are chasing them around to dry them off. Oh and don't even think about trying to change them into dry clothes. MELTDOWN! May all your problems be solved with this precious terry cloth poncho.

Just whip it over their head, and let it do the work for you! I also love the cozy hood to keep their heads warm on days when it's not so steamy or even to protect them from the sun. AND, they are made of super soft, 100% Organic Terry cloth. I think the idea is just wonderful, don't you?! By The Trendy Tot on Etsy

Now I lay me down to sleep...

OK, so I still have nursery decor on my mind...I guess it is because everyone I know is pregnant right now!  On Friday Project Nursery posted about  a giveaway for a crib bedding set by a designer I had not heard of. So, I clicked through and joyously discovered Annette Tatum. You may know her from her blog, The Well Dressed Home and for her work with Little House designing crib bedding. After spending some time reading through her blog, and looking at all of her gorgeous lines, I am totally smitten with this designer.

The crib bedding is a  It is a mix between Serena & Lily, Dwell and maybe even Elizabeth Allen. It's not classic, it's not modern, it's just somewhere in between. And if you are like me, and you enjoy an eclectic mix of fabrics, this is the line for you!

There are so many choices, which makes it easy to find something that you will love. She also has great neutral choices, for those of you who don't want a gender specific room. I could have posted her whole line, but instead here are just a few of my favorites. All available on laylagrace.com

Red, White and Cute!

I really can't believe that the 4th of July is next Sunday! Does anyone else feel like this summer is just flying by? I really love the 4th, it's a fun, laid back holiday that usually involves the pool, lots of great food and a summery cocktail.

When it comes to the kiddos, I think it is really cute to deck them out in some patriotic fashion. I am not a huge fan of flag tees...it's just not my thing. The Cat's Meow

So You Think You Can Dance fans can rejoice as a new season has started! Outside of crappy reality t.v., it is the one show that I look forward to every week. I am a die hard fan...I have even been to the SYTYCD tour. Oh yes...and it was fabulous!

Outside of the dancing, I also tune in just to see what host Cat Deeley is wearing. I feel like she is one of the few stars without a stylist, and it shows! She pushes the envelope, and some weeks you may love what she is wearing and some weeks you might just hate it. Her dresses are complete eye candy, and I would kill for her shoe collection. She always has the most perfect tousled waves and her updo's are amazing.

Here are just a few looks that I have loved over the years. Images courtesy of fox.com

The hair...ugh...what I wouldn't give! And a modern looking dress with lace AND sleeves, gorgeous!

I heart red.

those shoes are insane...love them!

slightly grecian...I am sold!

great color combo, although not quite sure of the placement of the ruffles

killer legs...

anyone else watching SYTYCD? Who are you rooting for this season?

Man of Style: Bravo's Golden Boy

I have fallen head over heels for Andy Cohen. This darling poster boy of Reality T.V. is the Senior VP of original programming on Bravo...yup, the mastermind behind the Rachel Zoe Project, Real Housewives, Flipping Out and Top Chef.

On top of all this, he hosts the most hilarious show called Watch What Happens, Live at 10:30 after the RH series. I always end up laughing out loud, and I can't help but wonder what it would be like if Andy and I were BFF's. We could gossip all day long about Crazy Danielle or twisted Jill Zarin, sip champagne cocktails, shop the shoe sale at Barneys, maybe I would help him pick out a great tie and then we would have wonderful lunches in Sag Harbor together. Ahhhh, a girl can dream right? Wouldn't he be the best Gay husband ever?

On top of his good looks and quick wit, the man can DRESS. He pulls of the fitted suit look just perfect, and his pocket square is never out of place. The pictures I am going to post do not do this man justice. He is way more put together on his show. Even my husband seems to be taking note...

OK ladies, any other Andy Cohen fans out there? Do you love his crooked smile as much as I do?!!!

Multi Purpose Dress...

I have been a little MIA this week and I apologize. It's been kind of hectic over here...I am leaving Tuesday for vacation up North to see my family. While I am there I am also doing a trunk show with my bows at Stringbean Co., so I have been very busy making new product to show!

In the next 2 months I have a couple of events that I need a cute dress for. Now, if you saw my closet you would tell me that there is no way I need something new. I am a bit of a dress-a-holic. But, there are so many cute things out there this season, and SUPER INEXPENSIVE! In fact, I looked all over and some of my favorite dresses are not the most expensive ones. Here are some that have caught my eye

How much do we adore this one? $61.99 on Modcloth.com

I am really loving a cheerful yellow right now. This looks kind of plain, but with a great belt and some fun jewelry I think it could be spectacular. $29.80 on Forever21.com

I am SWOOOONING over this one. But, geez, could it be any shorter? note to Lulu's...LENGTHEN YOUR HEMS!

simple, but sophisticated. You can't go wrong with a Navy dress. $57 on Lulus.com

This has my name written all over it. Love everything about it...$36 on Lulus.com

One SWEET Find...

I wish I had the time to attend flea markets, antique stores and estate sales to search out those perfect accent pieces for my home. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time...weeding through it all is nearly impossible. If this is an area you struggle with, just let Jackie (of fave Blog Sweetie Pie Pumpkin Noodle) and her new amazing store, One Sweet Find do it for you!

She has scoured the California coast to find amazing, one of a kind trinkets and decor to add a pop of color or some interest to your home. Her prices are phenomenal, which makes the "find" all the better!

Here are just a few of my favorite items from her shop...

this gorgeous horn is SOLD...but isn't it fabulous?

Now visit her darling SHOP for more of her great finds...

Glowing

I have a new addition to my reading list...Vanessa Jackman's Street Style blog. Her latest entries have been from Australian fashion week. This bronzed beauty was photographed on Bondi Beach in Australia. I am loving everything about her whole laid back look...from the bow swimsuit to the boho chic bag, and down to her brother's jeans (that she chopped off). Her personal style is not anything we could define, yet she looks absolutely adorable.

and just in case you didn't think she was cute enough, they had to throw an adorable dog in there...oh and how envious are we of her perfect abs? WOW!

Love Bug

Bugs aren't just for boys...in fact, the lady bug might be the cutest one I know!  Kelly from WH Hostess and the Party Dress put together the most darling Lady Bug soiree you have ever seen. Instead of the traditional black and white, she threw in some green which makes for such a cheerful color palette. I am  head over heels for her pots with grass as part of the sweets table, and the green and white stripe tablecloth is perfection.

And I actually got to join in the fun too...I supplied the Mel-Belles hair bows, in the Lady Bug theme as the party favors. What little girl wouldn't love bubbles and bows?

Hair bow party pack available  HERE...If you need more than 6 favors, email me and I can do a custom order for you.

If you want to make this party your own, just visit WH Hostess for all of the invites, stickers and favor tags.
