Spring Lust List: Gigi from A non-Desperate Housewife

If you have been following along, you know that Gigi is a good friend of mine. She also happens to be uber-stylish and one of the hippest moms I know. So thanks to Gigi for guest posting for me, you will love her list!

NARS Spring 2011 Collection.

Being a makeup artist, I rarely get excited about the season's "new colors". I feel like we've already seen them a million times! NARS, however, always gets me excited! The new spring collection is gorgeous, and even the bright green pencil is super wearable. I was able to get a sneak peak at the Summer collection, and it did not disappoint either!

Lanvin Happy Bag

I know this bag does not read "summer", but I don't care!! I have been dropping not so subtle hints to my husband that it MUST come live with us. Most of my bags are "hand" bags, which are difficult to maneuver with kids. This bag is the perfect size, and shape. I love the juxtopostion of edgy and feminie, and while I am not normally a "bow" person, I love the bow on the chain strap.

Good Jeans

Having 2 kiddos in 2 years meant not investing in a good pair of jeans for several seasons. I am ready for some good denim, specifically some Baldwin Denim. This is American made Denim at it's finest. No gimmicks, or uncessessary bells or whistes. They fit like a glove, and are the pair you'll reach for in your closet year after year.

Rompers

I know rompers are nothing new, but I was soooo bummed I couldn't buy them last summer. NOT a good look on a short pregnant girl! I am planning on purchasing several of these for the warmer months-I thnk they are perfect for play dates in the park, or even just knocking around in the back yard with the family.

Lanvin Clou Diamants chain-link necklace

Every season, I like to get a statement necklace and wear it with everything, from a simple tank to a vintage blouse. This Lanvin piece literally takes my breath away. So does the price.

Wedges

We all know that wide leg jeans are "back"...to be honest, they never left my wardrobe. I have a pair from the 70s that I will never part with. I could use a new pair of wedges to wear with them.

the shoes are from net-a porter:

  1. Love your list Gigi, but I knew I would. Wish I had never seen that Lanvin purse, now I can't get it out of my head.....
I must figure out some way to have that purse in my life!
