Signs of Fall...

Yesterday I spent the afternoon at Saks Fifth Avenue Off Fifth to help them celebrate their 1 year anniversary. I gave away free style consultations and nail kits (complete with a Saks tote and a punchy shade of pink) to those who came in to shop.

As much as I love summer clothing, I am pretty excited to see all the fall goodies rolling in. I think this might be one of the best season's yet...we are seeing so much color and pattern, unlike past Fall collections.

I styled mannequins and the front table of the store. I love this 5/48 blouse in a brown and camel python print. It had blousy sleeves that zipped at the cuff! I accessorized it with a Missoni scarf. Fall is all about mixing patterns.

This dress by Amanda Uprichard is a great transitional piece. It's super lightweight and it can be dressed up or dressed down (it came in 6 fantastic colors). I paired it with this leopard print Rebecca Minkoff cross body bag

How adorable are these shoe print scarves?

And every girl needs the perfect handbag for each season. This satchel by Badgley Mischka is the most gorgeous shade of caramel. Love it!

  2. One of my favorite stores! I love the fact that it is a discount store, but it feels like a department store unlike many of the others! Hope you had a great weekend, love!

  5. Too funny. I just discovered your blog as I was about to post about my new Amanda Uprichard dress...which you showed here in pink. Weird! I bought it in cobalt blue just last week :) So, long story short, I linked to your post! http://girlandtown.wordpress.com/2012/07/30/a-day-in-nyc/
