If you are like me, you have been on the endless search for the perfect tee. One with just the right amount of "drape", one that's not too short and not too long, and one that has the perfect neckline. Sounds impossible, right? My goal this summer is to find one so that I can pair it back to EVERYTHING. With all the colored and printed denim we are seeing this spring, a simple tee seems like the perfect compliment, no?

A Must Have: The Perfect LBD
One item that is definitely missing in my closet is the perfect LBD. As I get a little bit older, I find that I gravitate to more classic items as opposed to something I would wear once. This Tory Burch frock is perfection. The lace detail at the neck and waistband is pretty as can be. This would definitely be worth the investment.
paired back to some incredible earrings...
and a show-stopper shoe to complete the look...
Do you have a favorite LBD?

Fall's Best Basics: The Accessories
As much as I love a good trend, I am all about investing in fabulous basics. These items will cost you more, but they will also last you a lifetime. Can you believe I still don't own the Louis Vuitton Speedy?! It's a timeless piece that has always been on my wish list...

Every girl needs one...
I think a great Denim jacket is a no-brainer. It's something you can wear every season and can throw on with just about anything...
My sister in law recently got one, and cute Sally from A Piece of Toast Blog was sporting one recently with her adorable floral seven jeans. After seeing Blair from Atlantic-Pacific sporting one with this maxi skirt, I knew I needed this jacket ASAP!
My current favorite is the Trucker Jacket by Levi's...at $78 you can't go wrong. The fit is slim and cropped and I like the darker wash. (Blair is wearing the lighter wash in the same jacket)
Paige Denim has a fabulous, classic lighter-wash...
Do you own a cute denim jacket? Which is your fave?

The LWJ...
This weekend I met some girlfriends for dinner...ironically we all showed up wearing a white blazer! Seriously, what are the odds? Each of ours was a little different...one had a boyfriend style, one was shorter and more fitted and I had on one with black pinstripes.
Mine is probably 6 or 7 years old from Benetton. I have definitely gotten my moneys worth, and I love how versatile it is. You can throw it on over a dress, a blouse or even a t-shirt. I am thinking it's time to invest in a new one, as you can imagine, white doesn't hold up that great over time. There are so many cute options in a variety of price points...

Will you be wearing a LWJ this Spring?
