Everyday Pretties

For everyday, you will often find me in a pair of earrings and simple necklaces. I find that I am in need of a shorter necklace, something to layer my longer pendants with. I love that there are so many cute, dainty pieces to choose from!

Or the Gorjana Knox necklace which is a great price at only $62

Or how adorable is the Jennifer Zeuner mini wishbone

Sally and Molly from A Piece of Toast were sporting some Dana Rebecca over the holidays and now I am completely obsessed. The Samantha Lynn necklace is dainty, sparkly perfection...

Do you have an everyday "go-to" piece of jewelry?

My current obsession: Moon & Lola

Everyone loves the monogram necklace in gold and silver, but have you seen them in Acrylic by Moon & Lola? As someone obsessed with color, I think these are so fun! Not to mention, they are only $58 as opposed to $150. Poppy's Closet has 21 colors and 2 different fonts to choose from...

I think I would do the block style in pink! What would you choose?

Affordable baubles

I hope everyone had a fantastic mother's day! I ate too much, napped, and hung out poolside (it's in the 80's in Kansas City already!).

I just stumbled across this Etsy site and I had to share it with you all. The shop is called Julie's Adorabowls and Jewelry. She has really beautiful items and many of them are under $35. My favorite items were her earrings, which could go day to evening in a heartbeat. All of these styles range between $23 and $30

and then she has the oh-so coveted sideways cross necklace for a fraction of the price $29 for the small and $33 for the large.

I also love the initial disc necklace. $30 The perfect gift for a new mom!

Feeling crafty...

I keep seeing these bracelets all over the place, and I couldn't help but think this owuld be so easy to do. I just need a refresher on how to braid a friendship bracelet! Thankfully I happened upon this amazing DIY tutorial. So, what do you think? Will you be giving this one a whirl?

tiny pretty....

Edor's jewelry shop on Etsy's tag line is "tiny pretty" and I think this pretty much  sums it up. I love the daintiest of necklaces, they look extremely feminine and you can wear them every day. Her prices are phenomenal. Affordable enough to buy for friends or family or even as a little treat for yourself. I think they are precious, don't you?

Silver and Gold

When I was buying jewelry and accessories for Mark Shale, I always admired Anna Beck's selection. I loved the simplicity of her designs and how she combines both silver and gold. I am someone who wears both, so I found this to be the perfect marriage of the 2 metals. I also just found out all of her pieces are handmade on the island of Bali. How amazing would that be to work in paradise????

You can imagine my surprise when I opened a box from my husband and it was an Anna Beck cross! I had never mentioned the designer to him, he just happened upon the line at our Halls Department Store. It is so sweet and pretty and I wear it everyday paired with some of my other gold chains.

I hope to add to my Anna Beck collection, these are some styles that have caught my eye...

Fit for a queen...

I have a new found love for Temple St.Clair jewelry. I landed on their online site and I spent quite a bit of time just ogling all the goodies. Every piece is so gorgeous. I love the antique look and the vibrant stones and colors she uses in each piece. Too bad they are all in the $1000-$15,000 price range...yes, it's true...oh well, it's fun to look at, right? Here are some that caught my fancy...

spinthread

I can't even tell you how much I love Etsy's suggested shops tab, I keep finding the BEST stuff. spinthread is the newest addition to my favorite shops.

Each piece is a one of a kind, hand embroidered treasure. I am crazy over her use of color and unique patterns. The look of the line is a bit more eclectic than what I would normally like in jewelry, but for some reason I am completely drawn to it. Only downside, it can take up to 7 weeks to get your order. But, I think these would definitely be worth the wait!

Head on over to spinthread to check out her entire collection

74 Harley Street

One of my favorite ways to wear jewelry, is to mix a little old with a bit of new...and I especially love a little bit of sparkle. Susan mayer does just that with her designs for her jewelry line 74 Harley Street. Vintage treasures are re-worked to create absolutely gorgeous, one of a kind pieces.

Susan is also a Kansas City based designer, and I am always in favor of supporting local business! I was lucky enough to see her pieces in person at Girl Boutique (Hawthorne Plaza) Where they have an amazing selection of her items. In fact, there were so many to choose from, I just couldn't decide!!! I am hoping Santa will pick one out for me for Christmas.

She has fabulous hair pins, beautiful necklaces and one of my favorites are her charm bracelets. These pics were taken from her website, but make sure to stop into Girl Boutique if you want to see more of her selection.

one of each please!

As I was catching up on some blog reading tonight, I came across Ayofemi Jewelry on Dilly Dallas' blog. I gasped and grabbed my husband. The words out of my mouth were " I want all of them"! He was too distracted by U.S. Open tennis to even notice what I was talking about, and he pretty much ignored me. Even as I was squealing over all the pretty bracelets. Her prices are unreal, and wouldn't these be pretty layered with all the other bracelets I have been mentioning lately?

I am in love with these dainty gold dipped bar bracelets...only $18!

these beaded bar bracelets are great for layering

and the modern friendship bracelet. I just love these!

You could be lucky and win a set of her friendship bracelets via Dilly Dallas blog...although I am not sure why I am telling you all about it...yours truly is hoping that lady luck is on her side for this one!
