Do you want to Tango?

I am absolutely loving this season's hottest color, Tangerine Tango!  Pantone describes it as a vibrant reddish orange, reminiscent of the shade of a setting sun.

Whether it's in home decor, beauty or of course fashion you will have your pick this season of plenty of Tangerine Tango to choose from!

I just did a news segment this week featuring some early spring items in this gorgeous Hue. All of the items are from The Legends Outlets Kansas City. Thanks to The Gap Outlet, Old Navy Outlet, Books-A-Million, Brooks Brothers Factory Store and Saks Fifth Avenue Off Fifth for letting us use items for the segment...

Fall Trend: Pops of Red

Early fall is starting to arrive, and I can't help but notice all of the pops of Red! I love this rich hue, and can't wait to incorporate it into my fall wardrobe.

And how about home decor? Do you use pops of red in your home?

A plus.

I am slowly getting back into the swing of things. Our trip to Chicago was beyond. So much fun, I don't even know where to start. But, I am still tired and still catching up on work, so I think I will save my trip re-cap for another post...

until then I will share with you one of my favorite purchases. I have been following designer Amanda Uprichard for years. I remember her first collection were backless silk blouses ( I am still regretting not purchasing one I saw in NYC 5 years ago...). She continues to crank out great silhouettes, and is mostly known for her dresses. They are simple, but pretty, in the most gorgeous, candy colored hues.

I spotted the pink "Crystal" silhouette dress at Bloomingdale's and knew I had to try it on. It literally felt like nothing, but at the same time felt like the most amazing thing I had tried on. This time I didn't walk away, I bought it. My husband said it is the best $200 I have ever spent! ha! Guys can be so funny...

I am also loving it in this Blue/Turq color combo. Perfection! Anyone else own an Amanda dress? Or the coveted backless silk top?

COLOR: Pretty in Poppy

I seriously can't get enough of this color right now. It's the prettiest shade of red, and it looks great back to so many other colors. I love it with the neutral blushes we are seeing, olive greens and even blue (as crazy as it sounds). I have been seeing this color pop up everywhere...looks like I might get my poppy fix after all!

Mint

I tried on a silk blouse yesteday by Equipment at a local boutique called Standard Style, it was in the most gorgeous shade of Mint Green. I never, ever think to wear this color, but it is truly gorgeous on. I could only find one image of this online, and it is by blogger Something Navy. Isn't it a pretty shirt? It's so soft I could literally sleep in it.

So, after trying on the shirt I feel like I need this color in my life. It's such a beautiful hue...

do you love Mint Green too?

Feeling Blue

I have always loved this shade of blue. It looks amazing with a summer glow, a pretty pink lip, and topped off with some gold jewelry. Whether it is for day or evening, you really can't go wrong with this color...

This is a major splurge, but isn't it gorgeous?

Simply Divine

I have been searching for the perfect pink nail polish for the summer. I wanted something not too neon, and not too fuchsia.  I happened to be at Target (which now has Essie and OPI!) and I was hoping to find something by one of those lines. Nothing was hitting me, so I perused the cheaper lines as you never know what you might find. To my delight, out popped this amazing, watermelon shade of pink by Sally Hansen. EXACTLY what I was looking for. It was under $6 and the color is called Simply Divine. It is going to be my signature color for summer...

sorry for this odd picture of my hands, but this is how it looks on...

it is also almost the exact shade of my new favorite cardigan from J.Crew

can you tell I am feeling PINK this season? It's kind of my new favorite pop of color...

Bubble. Pop. Electric.

We have gone from 62 and sunny to snowing, all in 24 hours. Yesterday I was painting my nails a hot pink and today I had to bust out my scarf. What the?! I am so done with winter and so ready for spring.

I am REALLY feeling brights this season. Citrus tones, Bright Watermelon, Electric Pink. All these shades are perfect paired back to the pretty neutrals we are seeing this season. And if you don't like that much color in one item, go for a little accessory or even your nails!
